Postpartum 100 Hours €4,200
100 hours, in sessions of 4 hours per day,
5 days a week for first 3 weeks (60 hrs),
then 4 days a week for 2 weeks (32 hrs),
then final 2 sessions in next week (8 hrs).
Total of 25 sessions over 6 weeks.
Schedules can be customised and I'm flexible to change session times over the weeks as baby and parents needs evolve.
I do not ask for an agreed schedule of days / times / shift length before baby arrives. This is because my clients rarely know the level of support or the hours that are of most benefit until they get home with baby. Your baby may take long naps in the morning and then afternoon support may be of more help to you, or your baby may wake a lot during the night initially and morning support to allow the family rest is of most benefit. My clients usually book a package of hours, with a loose idea of the anticipated schedule.
The Postpartum support sessions do not have an expiry, you can book whenever is most of benefit to you. Popular sessions include day of discharge, so I can unpack while you cuddle with baby, then during week 1 to help with feeding and tips on newborn care, to assist with 2 week or 6 week check up or vaccine appointments, or a day to support you while you rest.

Carrot Insurance Doula Benefit
My birth, postpartum, and pregnancy loss services have been deemed eligible by Carrot Fertility Insurance, meaning Carrot members may use their Carrot benefit to be reimbursed for covered care provided by me.
If you qualify for the Carrot Fertility benefit, the first step is to contact your employer or benefits manager and get the exact details of what coverage is included in your plan. Benefits vary widely depending on your employer's plan—many cover up to six weeks of daytime and overnight doula care (up to 16 hours per day), including prenatal and birth support, while others might offer different options.
I have been pre-approved by Carrot Insurance meaning the attestation form is not needed, simply submit my name to Carrot and confirm the level of cover you are entitled to. After selecting your package, you will sign a contract and pay for the services upfront. In most cases, Carrot Health operates on a reimbursement model, meaning you’ll need to submit the receipts to claim your costs back.
Steps to take:
-
Confirm Coverage:
Contact your employer or benefits manager to understand the specific doula services and benefit amount covered under your Carrot plan.
-
Submit my name to Carrot Insurance to confirm eligibility for the doula service requested which can be pregnancy loss services, antenatal, labour, birth and postpartum support services.
-
Sign my Contract and Pay
Carrot often operates on a reimbursement model, so you'll likely need to pay the cost of services upfront and then submit receipts for reimbursement. If you are unable to pay the full amount upfront you can pay in instalments. For every payment you make I provide you with a receipt which you submit to Carrot Insurance for reimbursement, then with the reimbursement you can then make the next instalment payment and continue in this way until the package has been paid in full.
